Christopher Petersen

President

Christopher Petersen is a senior finance and operations executive with 25+ years of experience owning P&L, financial controls, risk governance, and operational performance — with commercial transportation as the consistent thread through his entire career. Heavy and medium-duty trucking, fleet finance, and transportation equipment have represented more than half of the portfolios under his management across every major role, including senior leadership positions at Citigroup, GE Capital, and Hitachi Capital America.

His career combines deep sector fluency with the financial infrastructure, cost discipline, and reporting rigor that private-equity-backed organizations require. He has designed and implemented financial performance dashboards, SLA frameworks, and KPI reporting systems that provide real-time visibility into operational costs, revenue drivers, and risk exposure — translating complex data into executive and board-level insight.

Christopher brings rare cross-border restructuring experience, having led a US entity through Chapter 15 proceedings arising from a Canadian parent’s CCAA filing. The engagement required direct fluency in creditor relations, cash management under constraint, and multi-jurisdictional legal coordination — a credential few advisors in the commercial finance space can offer.

Across his career he has held senior roles spanning credit risk, collections and loss mitigation, asset recovery, credit and risk transformation, and operations — serving as a strategic partner to CEOs, boards, and ownership groups across complex, multi-entity environments.
